The Mining of Mines and Minerals Development has launched a podcast to enhance communication and transparency.

The podcast aims to reach various stakeholders to inform them about the Ministry’s activities.

Speaking when he officially launched the podcast in Lusaka, Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary THABO KAWANA commended the Ministry of Mines for its investment in communication equipment and platforms to ensure accurate information dissemination.

Mr. KAWANA noted the importance of sharing accurate information.

He urged other Ministries and government departments to budget for communication and take deliberate steps to disseminate information effectively.

And, Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development Permanent Secretary HAPENGA KABETA noted the central role of the Ministry of Mines in the economic transformation of the country.

Dr. KABETA said that this highlights the need for effective communication of legal and policy reforms to stakeholders.
